This lovely vacation cottage is near the beautiful beaches of Prince
Edward Island's north shore and is in the heart of the Anne of Green
Gables region.  Seclusion in a woods amidst farm fields provides
peacefulness and privacy.  There is a large tree shaded yard for
family play, and a large deck for leisure and barbecues, with a
'million dollar view' into the church steeple community of Long River.
You enter the front into a quaint porch with wicker furniture, and
from there into a large living room with a comfortable couch and
satellite TV.  There is also a large kitchen and dining room
downstairs.  The three bedrooms and bath, with tub and shower, are
upstairs.  The master bedroom has a queen bed, the second has a double
bed, and the third has two twins.   

Chrissydale Cottage is the perfect spot for a family vacation.  It
gives you a great home base for endless activities in the near area. 
Plus if you just want to take it easy right here, you can create lots
to do or just relax in the peaceful environs.  There is only one other
residence at the site - an old victorian farm house across the drive,
occupied by the Chrissydale caretakers, a retired couple.  You come
back a tree lined drive a third of a mile to the cottage, which places
you that far from the farm road and provides additional privacy. 
Everyone who comes to Chrissydale loves the place and can't wait to
return.

Once you are settled in Chrissydale you can go back out the drive to
Long River Road and turn left for a 5 minute ride to a wide sandy
beach. Unlike the national park beach at Cavendish which charges a
carload $17 a day, this beach is free.  Another mile on your right is
the Anne of Green Gables Museum, which also features horse drawn
carriage rides to the beach.  Cavendish, with all sorts of family fun
is a 20 minute ride. Summerside, with all kinds of shopping and
theaters is 20 minutes in the other direction.  Kensington, with
grocery stores, a pharmacy and restaurants is 10 minutes away.  The
fishing fleet with daily party trips is 15 minutes away. At
Chrissydale you have a beautiful rural setting that is close to
everything you will want on your vacation and with all the comforts of
home.

Rates are in US dollars.  Deposit of one half is due upon making a
reservation and is non-refundable.  Final payment is due one week
before taking occupancy and is non-refundable.  The rental week begins
at 3 PM Saturday and ends at 11 AM the following Saturday.
