The house is beautifully furnished and landscaped. We provide all 
linens, all dishes, pots/pans, cooking utensils, silverware, 
microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker and other kitchen items, beach 
towels, beach chairs and umbrellas. The sandy beach is a short 10 
minute walk away. There is a lifeguard and it is perfect for 
children because it’s on the bay, not ocean, and has a beach house 
with bathrooms. 

For the outdoor enthusiast, Shelter Island is conveniently located 
between the North and South Forks of Eastern long island, and 
features plenty to do.  The Island has a Public Golf Course - Yoga - 
Tennis - Beaches - Bike Rentals - Horseback Riding - Fishing - 
Kayaking.  The house is in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood, yet 
close to local restaurants, beaches and shopping, and the Mashomack 
nature preserve.  

The house is located one mile from the South Ferry which is a short 
5 minute ride across to the South Fork.  The South Fork features 
fine hampton dining, "main streets" with luxury shopping, galleries, 
antiques, and more.  The South Ferry leaves you 3 Miles from the 
town of Sag Harbor, and 8 Miles from the town of East Hampton and 
public ocean beaches.  The village of Southampton is 25 minutes away 
and Montauk is a 45 minute drive.
  
The house is 6 miles from the North Ferry which is a 12 minute ride 
to the North Fork.  The North Fork contains the Long Island Wine 
District that is the home of some thirteen wineries/vineyards 
including Wolffer Estates and Pindar Vineyard. On the North Fork 
you'll also find numerous farms and fresh produce - the Tanger 
Outlet Shopping in Riverhead and Orient Point State Park. 

Only 100 miles from New York City.  Ready to move in. Bring your 
book and your lap top.  Pets possible.  

Available daily - $650 per night (6 night minimum).
Memorial Day - September 30, 2009 (some weeks already rented).
First half of rent due on lease signing - nonrefundable.
Second half of rent due by May 1, together with security deposit 
and cleaning fee.
