This is a gem of a place. It's private, it's quiet, there's lots of
room to roam, no nearby neighbors except us (and we are very quiet)
and our prices are very reasonable with no hidden fees.
Older, very comfortable cabin furnished with antiques right on the
Big Thompson River in a quiet off-highway setting. Big screened porch
overlooking the river. Located just around the corner east of Sleepy
Hollow Park, 6 miles east of Estes Park on Highway 34. One of the few
rental cabins in the area that is right on the river but not right on
the highway.
2 bedrooms with double beds and a comfy double futon. Full bath with
tub and shower and fully-equipped full-size kitchen. Large grassy yard
for your kids to play in or bring a tent. Many people bring bows and
arrows for archery practice.
Some people think this is a plus, others a minus: there is limited
cell phone signal here in our river canyon. Verizon and ATT customers
have had the most luck, and people use the free wireless to send and
receive messages via their cell phones. There is a landline phone and
you can bring a phone card for long distance, or borrow our phone for
emergencies. You can use your cellphone in Estes Park, six miles away.
Non-smoking cabin.
No pets. Don't even ask.
Our first-time guests are always pleasantly surprised at the privacy
and beauty of our location. Things get hectic in Estes Park, but you
are totally away from it all at our cabins. Our rates are lower than
comparable properties because we want our customers to be able to come
back again and again, and many do.
DON"T FORGET TO LOOK AT OUR OTHER CABIN: TROUT CABIN. IT IS VERY CLOSE
BY, ON THE SAME PRIVATE DRIVE OFF THE HIGHWAY.

20 minutes to Rocky Mountain National Park for hiking, Estes Park for
events and shopping. 30 minutes to Loveland.
Surrounded by Roosevelt National Forest for local hikes.
We are located on the banks of the Big Thompson River about 1/4 mile
from the highway to Estes Park. Sitting on the front porch
watching the hummingbirds and listening to the river in your front yard
is heavenly. World-class fly fishing available by separate reservation,
ask ahead of your arrival or make arrangements when you get here.

Rates |

NO MINIMUM STAY!
$100 a night, $675 for the week plus 5.5% sales tax. Ask about special
rates. (Examples: returning guest rate, left it clean last time rate,
might-as-well-be-family rate.)
Fishing costs extra - $60 per day per person, $45 for a half day, and
you need to reserve fishing ahead of time by contacting us plus have a
current Colorado fishing license that you can get at Wal-Mart in
Loveland or local fishing stores in Estes Park. There is plenty of
good public fishing in the area, so if you are not sure if you want to
fish this time, consider doing that.
We might request a 50% deposit to hold the reservation if you've
never been here before and it is a busy time.
All rentals are charged the applicable State and Local sales and
marketing district taxes (5.5%). [The sales tax on lodging in Estes
Park is 9.7%]
Housekeeping services are not provided during your stay. This unit
has laundry facilities (we provide detergent). We supply cleaning
supplies for your convenience.
