Lake Effect is located on a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan s Little 
Traverse Bay and only a few minutes north of Harbor Springs. This is 
in a beautiful neighborhood of distinctive lakefront homes and near a 
nature preserve. Follow a planked path and steps from the house to a 
small deck near the lake. You can swim in the shallow waters, walk 
along sandy shoreline for miles, search for Petoskey Stones and find 
smooth pieces of driftwood. It is not unusual to see an occasional 
fox, deer or other woodland critters passing through. The house has 3 
bedrooms, 3 and 1/2 baths and will accommodate 6 people. The main 
level has a comfortable open floor plan and includes the living room, 
dining room, kitchen and a 1/2 bath. Tables near the windows and on 
the main deck allow you to enjoy the panorama while dining or 
lounging. The fully equipped kitchen has modern stainless steel 
appliances including dual convection ovens. A gas grill is 
conveniently located on the kitchen patio. The living room has a wood 
burning fireplace and TV/VCR/DVD. Upstairs is the Master Bedroom with 
a king bed, TV, vaulted ceiling with remote fan control and windows 
facing the bay. The private bath has a jetted whirlpool tub, walk in 
shower, dual sinks and a walk in closet. A second bedroom with a 
queen bed has a ceiling fan, and there is a full bath in the hall. 
The lower level has a third bedroom with 2 twins and TV, an office, 
full bath, laundry room and a family room with a TV and table for 
games. A door exits to access the stairs up to the main deck and the 
steps down to the lakefront.

Rates do not include tax or additional fees. Until reservation is 
confirmed, rates are subject to change without notice. Fall & Spring: 
$399 per night, 2 night minimum. Weekly 2160. Winter nightly $400 
requires a 2 night minimum, winter weekly $2200. Christmas - New Year 
$400 per night with a 3 night minimum. Summer 2007: $2700 per week, 7 
night minimum. 

Fee Description: Every reservation is subject to a booking fee of 
$40.00, plus a $250 cleaning fee.
