Dog Star Cabin is a warm and cozy lakefront two-bedroom, two-bath 
cabin with lots of windows and large rooms. This North Georgia cabin 
was decorated with your comfort in mind. There’s a full kitchen, 
dining area, queen-sized bed in the master bedroom and two twin-
sized beds in the second bedroom, front porch rockers and back porch 
swing. The perfect spot for a couple or a family.

This Blue Ridge Mountain cabin rental is near Ellijay, GA where you 
will find plenty of outdoor activities, restaurants, scenic drives 
and shopping. Or you may choose to stay in the comfort and seclusion 
of the cabin.

There's so much to do ... enjoy the rockers, a warm log fire, a game 
of cards, fish at the lake? The choice is up to you.

Fully renovated in 2006, the interior common areas are spacious and 
comfortable, and there are two full-length decks outside to sit, 
relax and enjoy the view.

The main floor Great Room features a large living area with leather 
sofa and country rustic decor. A stone fireplace with gas logs 
reflects warmth throughout the room. This comfortable room features 
a television with DVD and VHS players (with more than 100 VHS 
movies), and CD player (bring CD's). 

This level also has a fully equipped kitchen and a dining area with 
table suitable for seating six.

Nestled in the foothills of the vast, unspoiled Chattahoochee 
National Forest and the Appalachian Mountains, Gilmer County offers 
439 square miles of forest, lakes and over 300 miles of streams and 
rivers where wildlife and rugged beauty abound. Nearby Carters Lake, 
with sixty-two miles of shoreline, offers both recreation and power 
development. Two major wildlife management areas, Rich Mountain and 
Coosawattee, are located in the county, the former consisting of 
45,000 acres of rugged mountain terrain. A state recreation area is 
available at Fort Mountain, a short distance west of Ellijay, and 
Amicalola Falls State Park is located 20 miles east of Ellijay.
