A restored 19th century cabin next to a fishing pond, set in a
thousand acres of wooded and private hills.

Wood stove for heat, wood provided. Gas range. Running water
for kitchen sink. No electricity, served by an outhouse.
Linens provided. Stocked fishing pond next to the cabin, with a
wooden dock for fishing and diving. Catch and release. Good and safe
swimming too. Miles of trails thru the woods; walk to the horseshoe
pit or the blueberry patch up the (private) road. Local attractions
include the Chesterhill Produce Auction on Thursdays at 4, the
farmers' market on Saturday mornings, occasional live music offerings
at the Chesterhill Opera House, and all attractions of the big cities
of Athens and Marietta. Little more than an hour to the crowds, and
caves, of the Hocking Hills parks.

Near the town of Chesterhill, with its many Amish farms, summer
produce auction (yes, vegetables are auctioned from horse drawn
Amish wagons), roads that run the ridges through and amid 19th
century views.
On the property, go fishing, swimming, horseback riding or hiking.
