We are located on Monarch Pass in beautiful Chaffee County, home to 
dozens of 13,000 and 14,000 foot peaks. Enjoy Colorado without the 
traffic. 

Family-friendly Monarch Mountain boasts 360 degree views of the 
mountains from the Continental Divide with renowned "Champagne 
Powder" snow. We offer discounted rates for skiing/snowboarding lift 
tickets, as well as discounted hot springs soaking. Colorado's best 
whitewater rafting is 10 minutes away on the famed Arkansas River. 

Our house is located in historic Maysville, circa 1880's silver-
mining town, now the charming home to just a few happy residents. We 
are surrounded by National Forest. If you love the outdoors, you 
will love the easy access to our county's abundance of beauty. 
(Chaffee County is 85% National and State Forest!)

We pride ourselves on providing a very clean and organized home, 
fully equipped with bed/bath/kitchen linens, as well as a complete 
kitchen with cookware and dishes. Full-sized kitchen appliances, as 
well as full-sized laundry. 

Our living room contains a free-standing propane fireplace. This 
room steps down to a solarium. We offer 2 satellite TV systems, as 
well as DVD, VCR, Stereo. 

Our 3 bedrooms contain the following framed beds: a Select Comfort 
King, an Orthopedic support Queen, and a full-sized double. 
All beds are suited with flannel sheets and down comforters in the 
winter and fine high-threadcount sheets in the summer.

Outside features are a fully-landscaped yard, boasting Colorado's 
colorful perennials. We have decking that steps down to a pergola, 
two outside dining areas, and a BBQ grill.

Charming, artsy Salida is 10 minutes to the East, boasting the 
states most numerous historic buildings from the 1880's and 1890's.

Arkansas River sports are 10 minutes away with the states best 
whitewater rafing and kayaking.  We offer discounted rafting.

A vein of hot mineral springs runs through this area.  We offer 
discounted soaking.

Many ghost towns speckle our mountainsides.  With 85% of the county 
being National and State Forest, you can easily enjoy the wonders of 
our wildlife and landscape.

Our rates vary throughout the year from $129/night to $195/night, 
depending on the season. If you choose to stay for a week, we will 
give you 2 of those nights for free. Stay for 7 days, pay for 5
