Tahoe City is about 1.5 miles dopwn the road with restaraunts, golf, 
cinema, shopping, and grocery stores. 

Close - hiking, biking, sledding, snowmobiling, rock climbing, cross 
country skiing, fishing, horseback riding, rafting, parasailing, 
wind surfing, and sailing.
