Description
|
|
5BR,3BA, sleeps 10-12. House sits at 4200 ft above sea level in the
town of Highlands on Little Bear Pen Mountain. Carport for 2 cars and
ample parking. Level front yard and back yard has slight slope.
Only 3 streets with 40 homes on the mountain, no traffic and great
fairly level walking area. Lane behind house has great views of
Whiteside Mtn. As Little Bear Pen Mountain is a higher elevation than
the town of Highlands you can walk to town but the climb back up our
mountain is steep. There is also a nice trail to town.

Attractions |
|
From the main street & main part of downtown Highlands at Old Edwards
Inn, looking south the first mountain you see is Little Bear Pen
Mountain. We (both in our 50's) and most of our neighbors walk to
town often, but as it is a higher elevation the climb back up is
steep and is not for everyone. The Town of Highlands, offers an
international world class spa, shopping, fine restaurants, playhouse,
auction house, wine & cheese shop and gourmet grocery shopping.
Within a few miles of the house are great hiking areas to waterfalls
as well as the entrance to Whiteside Mountain's hiking trail and
Sunset Rock.
