Quart-A-Nancy Point on Cooper Island in the British Virgin Islands. 
This small piece of paradise provides island living at its best. 
Relax, swim and snorkel/scuba dive, read, or watch daily life at
Manchioneel Bay.  There are a variety of activities.  Our 50ft
Open-Plan Living Area and west-facing panoramic view showcase
spectacular sunsets over Tortola and the Sir Francis Drake Channel. 
Check out our live Webcam.  Experience self-sufficient island living
without giving up all the amenities.  Cook your own meals or visit the
Cooper Island Beach Club (CIBC) for lunch or dinner.  

The house at Quart-A-Nancy Point is one of only a few private homes on
Cooper Island.  It was built in the 1960s and 70s as an artist's
retreat.  The construction is concrete, concrete block, and native
stone.  Please see our interactive floorplan showing house layout. 
Renovations were completed during May 2006 and the newly refurbished
house is available to Guests for rental

Access to Quart-A-Nancy Point is only by private boat or via the
Cooper Island Beach Club boat from Tortola to a Private Jetty.  There
are no roads and only 5 private residences on the island plus the
Cooper Island Beach Club.

While our property is rocky with no sandy beach, there is good
swimming and snorkeling right off the jetty and landing which are also
great places to sit and watch the harbor activity or catch some
sun.  There is also a good sandy beach approximately 400 meters away
at the Cooper Island Beach Club and farther south along the coast.
Quart-A-Nancy Point has the best snorkeling around Manchioneel Bay. 
Try along the rocks and in the sandy areas just north of our jetty,
where you may see starfish, sea urchins, whelk, conch, and various
fish (parrot fish, trumpet fish, rays, small barracuda, and others)
and both soft and hard corals. Watch for a few solitary elkhorn coral
heads.  Sea turtles and rays are also often seen in the seagrass
areas. Sail Caribbean Divers has a full service dive shop on Cooper
Island.  They offer an introduction to Scuba session, dives throughout
the BVI including reef areas and wrecks, tank fills, and rental
equipment.  Sail Caribbean also rents kayaks, dinghy's, and additional
snorkel gear.
