The Dolphin Inn is located in peaceful Southern Shore, two miles 
North of the causeway and one mile South of Duck. Southern Shores is 
the perfect location for a family vacation. Southern Shores boasts 
large lots, private beach access, marinas, hiking/bike trails, tennis 
courts, and a golf course. Five other golf courses nearby. 

Learn to hang glide at Kitty Hawk Kites. Visit the Hatteras 
Lighthouse at Cape Hatteras, Wright Brothers Memorial in Kitty Hawk, 
NC Aquarium in Manteo, the historic Whalehead Club in Carolla, or 
enjoy driving your 4-WD on the beaches North of Carolla. Shop for 
bargains at the nearby Outlet Mall. Take the free car ferry to 
Ocracoke to search for Blackbeard’s treasure. Enjoy fine dining in 
nearby Duck and Kitty Hawk.

Enjoy lounging by the pool or in the hot tub.  The pool is situated 
on the south side of the house instead of behind the house so the 
pool gets plenty of sun throughout the day to help heat the water.  
This helps make the pool enjoyable in the late spring and early fall.

little ones or a fun place to watch the sunset.  Includes a 9' slide, 
a seating area under the main deck and a fireman's pole to go from 
the top deck to the lower deck.  It's easy to keep an eye on the kids 
as the ship is visible from the hot tub and  volleyball area.
