Les Kai Itan Ekthes and its neighbouring farmhouse 'Romer' are two 
peaceful cottages set apart on a west facing terraced garden in a 
little hamlet called Markandonata, just 3 minutes away by car from 
Fiskardo in Kefalonia (in the north west of the island  -  the best 
part of the island, as it is less developed).  Les Kai has one double 
bedroom and an additional twin sofabed in the sitting room.  Romer 
has two bedrooms (1 double, one twin) with an additional occasional 
bed if required.   
These cottages are available to rent together or individually (in 
which case they share use of the pretty swimming pool).  They are 
connected by a stone path which cuts across the terraced gardens, but 
they each retain their own complete privacy, and have their own 
separate entrances as well. The swimming pool is set below both 
cottages on a private terrace, which is not overlooked by either

This is an unspoilt and peaceful part of Kefalonia, up on the north 
west tip of the island, just five minutes drive to the delightful 
fishing and sailing village of FISCARDO.  You can walk up to the 
little village of Antipata for local tavernas which serve excellent 
traditional Greek food (as well as authentic Italian pizzas!)  Visit 
the fabulous underground lake of Melissani, or Drogerati Cave, the 
picturesque fishing village of Assos, with its medieval castle, and 
swim at 'Captain Corelli's' famous Myrtos Beach.  Sailing, 
snorkelling, fishing, local boat hire, and horse riding in the 
mountains all close by...
