opens onto front entry way. New TV, DVD player, VCR and stereo. Open
dining area seats 6 to 8.

The very best spot on Wild Dunes beaches is a few minute walk away.
The beach access path is directly across from the entrance to our
street. Don't be misled by other rentals claiming "short walk to
beach." Ours truly is, and the proximity to the beach path across
from the entrance to Fairway Dunes is they key. Clean, uncrowded,
beautiful beaches await.
From here you can walk South towards the Grand Pavillion or North
around the tip of the island all the way to a little known tidal
creek (good shrimping in season). The beach is hard packed and great
for bike riding and sand castle building. Waves and water are great.
Surf casting/fishing is, too. This is also sea turtle country. We
encountered several on the beach laying eggs last summer on late
night walks. An incredible experience.
In case you are new to Wild Dunes, the resort occupies the Northern
half of Isle of Palms, just North of Sulivan's Island which guards
the Northern entry to Charleston Harbor. Isle of Palms is just
across the Intercoastal Waterway from the historic town of Mt.
Pleasant, where you can find tons of stores, restaurants and
entertainment.

Wild dunes features two award winning golf courses, practice range,
restuarants, and there are dozens of courses near by. All golf is
available by fee. Historic Charleston, SC is a quick 20 minute drive
and is among the most beautiful cities in the world. Museums,
restaurants, shopping, history, Ft. Sumpter National Monument,
harbor tours, fishing, the South Carolina Acquarium, Charleton
Riverdogs minor league baseball, Charleston Battery professional
soccer, etc. Charleston has something for everyone.
