The Snowy Mountain Inn is a chef/owner operated facility that offers
Bed & Breakfast lodging, cottages and a full menu dining room
featuring Real Pit Southern BBQ and home cooking. Our secluded
cottages have Adirondack style interiors with lake and mountain views.
We are centrally located within the Adirondack Park, making day trips
in any direction a pleasure.
The Inn is open all year long and is located on Route 30 (Adirondack
Trail Scenic Highway), 6 miles south of the hamlet of Indian Lake, New
York. The property is on a plateau at the base of Snowy Mountain (elv.
3995') overlooking Indian Lake. "Snowy" is the highest mountain
outside of the High Peaks Region and is a popular four seasons hiking
destination.

All of our accomodations are available year round. The cottages have
knotty pine interiors with a living room, bedroom and a bathroom.
Cottages and rooms have Adirondack white cedar furniture and wall to
wall carpeting. There is Satellite TV with premium channels along
with wireless or ethernet internet access. PLUS - free long distance
(U.S.) calling. ALL ROOMS ARE MODERN AND CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN!!!!!

Indian Lake is in the middle of the Adirondack Mountains, with easy
access to the High Peaks Region, Lake Placid, Old Forge, Lake George
and Saratoga. We are centrally located within a short drive to major
attractions and sporting events. There is always something to do, no
matter what time of year you wish to visit. The Adirondack Museum at
Blue Mountain Lake has been rated the finest of its kind in the world.
Outlet shopping is less than an hour away and antiques are to be
found just about anywhere you look. The area is known for pristine
lakes with fine fishing, swimming and boating. There is also superb
hiking, white water rafting, snowmobiling, downhill and cross- country
skiing. The Gore Mountain Ski Center is a half hour away and offers 4
season recreation.

Rates |

Rent by the night ($150). Weekly rate is $10 less per night. Reduced
rates for off season, except for holiday or special event weekends.
A deluxe continental breakfast, served in the dining room is included.
Full menu breakfast is optional. Lunch and/or dinner is also available.
