25 minutes from Acadia National Park, this charming 3 bedroom / 1
bath cottage is located right on salt water Trenton Bay, perfect for
kayaking and swimming. The 12 foot tide at this cottage is dramatic,
changing the beach from a narrow strip at high tide, to a very wide
beach at low tide. Also, at low tide there are lots of mussels that
you can pick, steam and eat. The cottage is only 7 miles to
Ellsworth where there are grocery stores, movies, bowling and nice
restaurants. And Bar Harbor is only 30 minutes away. Shady Nook
Cottage faces west so that you will enjoy the beautiful Maine
sunsets. There is a screened in porch facing the water, stairs down
to the beach, and an unscreened deck for sunbathing, if that is your
pleasure. For all of you who enjoy the peace and quiet of a “TV free”
house this is the perfect place for you to relax. Because of the
cooling breezes off the water, this house doesn’t need an air
conditioner. **NO PETS**, This property accepts immediate
reservations! Runs Sunday to Sunday and Maximum occupancy is 6.
