Charming little 2 story log cabin, sleeps 2, available June through 
late September. "The Bird House" is  on a little lake and has a 
salmon spawing stream at the cabin's door. Located in th lovely 
Matanuska Valley, surrounded by rugged mountains, glacier fed rivers 
and alpine meadows.  

2 story log cabin with porch.
1st.floor mini kitchen, sink, Refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, 
hot plate.  Table for 2. dishes, pots and pans provided.
Small bathroom, pedistal sink, shower, toilet.
2nd. floor 2 day bed couches, cot size that can be pushed together.  
Cabin comes with linnen.
shopping and good restaurants and coffee houses near by.
Linnen service once a week.
another rustic cabin, "The Snow Goose Roost" is also on the property 
and can be rented for an additional cost of $550 a week  when you 
rent the Bird House as it does not have indoor plubing.  It sleeps 
4, 2 feather beds.

Moose often visit, bald eagles and ravens catch the updraft, In the 
alpine meadows can been see bear, beaver, fox, marmuts and high on 
the mountain sides, Dall Sheep and Goats.  Also  at nearby farms, 
you can feed reindeer (caribou) see musk ox, wolves. Awaiting you 
is  white water rafting, mountin climbing, hiking, exploring 
historic gold mines,glaciers.  By car 40 minutes to Anchorage, a few 
hours to Mt.McKinley, Denali Park and Talkeetna, Homer, Seward, 
Prince William Sound, Girdwood, Kenai, and less than a days drive to 
Fairbanks and Valdez. 
Come breath in the sweet clean air, refresh your soul, Relax, float 
on the lake, write the great movel, refresh your soul.

The Bird House Available starting June through late September only
$750 week, cleaning fee $100.00.
You may add the "Snow Goose Roost" rustic cabin for an additional 
$550.
