downstairs (one with king-sized bed and one with two twin beds) and a
den upstairs with a futon that makes into a double bed. There are two
full bathrooms downstairs (one in the master bedroom suite, which also
has a walk-in closet, and one across the hall from the smaller
bedroom). Also downstairs is a utility closet with clothes washer and
dryer. Entry to the unit is through a private enclosed patio.
Upstairs, there is a large living/dining room, newly remodeled
kitchen, den and half
bath, plus a balcony with table, chairs and a gas barbeque. The unit
is tastefully decorated and fully furnished, including linens for the
beds and baths and everything you’ll need in the kitchen for cooking
and dining.

Amenities include a fireplace, wet bar, 2 TVs with DVD/VCR player,
dozens of books and a stereo system. Guests have two
reserved parking places in a secure underground garage near the
entrance to the townhouse. The home is in Solana Beach’s Seascape Sur
complex, a gated beachfront development built on the bluffs above the
ocean. It is just north of Del Mar and LaJolla in northern San Diego
County. In addition to direct beach access, the complex has two
swimming pools, 2 spas, tennis courts, and a recreation center with
ping pong and pool tables and a sauna.

In addition to having direct access to the beach, swimming pools and
tennis, the complex is only a 5-minute drive to the Cedros District's
boutique shops and a few more minutes away from shops in downtown Del
Mar and La Jolla. Golf, sports fishing and other water sports are also
near by. In addition, Interstate Highway 5 is only about 5 minutes
away, providing easy access to such attractions as Sea World, Wild
Animal Park, Legoland, Old Town, the Gaslamp District, Seaport
Village, and the legendary San Diego Zoo. The Del Mar racetrack is
also close by (a 15-minute walk or 5-minute drive), and thoroughbred
horse racing begins July 19 and runs through September 6.

Rates |

The townhouse rents from Saturday to Saturday for $1400 per week from
September through June and $1800/week in July and August.
In addition, a fully refundable
$500 security deposit is required. Weeks are presently available from
July 5-August 2, August 9-23 and Sept. 3-January 15. From Sept. 3 to
Jan.15 and May 15 to June 27 the unit can also be rented for $2500 per
month plus a refundable $1000 security/key/cleaning deposit. The
monthly rental fee includes some
utilities (water, garbage and basic cable TV), but monthly tenants pay
for gas, electricity and telephone.
