 Description

The property is situated in the secluded Wild Acres community at the end of Raymond Cape, a location featuring striking vistas overlooking Jordan Bay. The camp features wonderful amenities, such as a private dock suitable for sunning, swimming and diving, a sandy beach, and use of both a canoe and kayak. Sebago Lake is well-known for great water activities, such as swimming, boating/sailing, kayaking in its many coves, and active sport fishing (Raymond, Maine is known as "Home of the Landlocked Salmon"). At "The Spiderweb," guests may lounge in the sun on the dock (which receives full sun in July/August from 10 AM until close to sunset) or relax in the shade in a comfy rope hammock under towering pines. Inside the home, enjoy a cozy fire in the home's towering fireplace while enjoying the panoramic views of water on three sides. Other courses close-by include Frye Island Golf Course (10 minutes, via car ferry, on Frye Island), Naples Country Club (20 minutes by car), and Bridgton Highlands (30 minutes). Fishing: Sebago Lake is well-known as home of the "Land Locked Salmon" and currently is one of the best lakes in New England for both brown and lake trout, with many fish are in the 16-23 inch range. In February, the lake plays host to one of the nation's largest ice fishing derbies. Hiking: Numerous trails are located within an easy drive, including Douglas Hill in Sebago, a manageable hike for climbers of all ages which offers a panoramic view from its summit (the highest point in the Lakes Region).
