You'll find a snug haven with nautical touches at Meadow Beach 
Cottage. It was originally built as an artist's studio and features 
pine beams overhead, with a ship's wheel chandelier. The cottage 
perches just off the street. There's a front-door mountain view 
across the street, and a back deck view of the meadow, distant 
house, and ocean glimpses. One of the Camden windjammer schooners 
often glides by or makes a stop off shore. Tenants have access to 
230-ft. private pebble beach, or can take a short walk to the public 
sand/wading beach and beach restaurants. ~Interior: Walls are a 
combo of rustic pine board and plaster. Storage cupboards/closets. 
Kitchenette with full elect.stove and stainless sink. Small bathroom 
with window, shower. Queen bed in cozy bedroom; oak dresser 
w/mirror. Fan, Rennai heater. Screened windows. 
Cable/VCR.Comfortably furnished with sofa, chairs,writing table,  
lamps.Dishes,linens provided, but no maid service. Privacy.You can 
hook up phone service  quickly thru small, local telephone company. 
This unique property is available by the month or season 
only (not weekly); May thru Oct. Months of May, June & Oct. are low 
season ($1200 mo.); July, Aug. & Sept. are high season ($1600 mo.).

From Portland Airport one can rent a car and drive up 1 hr. 45 min. 
to the Lincolnville Beach community on Penobscot Bay. We are within 
a short walk to several art galleries, a small beach store, several 
good restaurants & pub, post office and 2 gift shops. There is an 
hourly ferry boat to island across bay. See lobster boats at anchor 
near ferry dock, public sand beach, and 4-5 miles to Camden Hills 
State Park with spectacular top-of-mt. views. Local Health 
clinic/Dr.'s office. Local winery & gift shop. Drive 7-8 miles to 
hospital. Grocery shopping in Camden with Harbor & shops, 5 miles; 
or in waterfront Belfast, a 20-min. drive. Movie theaters are in all 
nearby towns. Rockland, home of annual Lobster Festival, is abt. 12 
miles away. This is a unique location on main road, but retains a 
rural feeling, with ocean glimpses, and is close to amenities. Can

$1600 mo. Rental Fee for month or entire season is payable one month 
in advance of initial occupancy, and is not refundable. 
Check in, 2 p.m.,earliest, on first of month. Check out, 10 
a.m.,latest, on last day of month. Reservation fee, $200, is 
refundable at check out time if cottage in same condition and as 
clean as upon arrival (includes stove & refrigerator). Cancellations 
must be made prior to one month in advance, for return of 
reservation fee.
