Description
|
|
You can "have it all" in the Berkshires! Our cozy contemporary home is
less than 30 minutes from all Berkshire cultural and historical
attractions, but tucked away in woodsy peace and privacy. Our four
acres look out over a large lawn, lovely flower and herb garden, old
apple orchard, and trout stream to a facing wooded ridge. Large
windows and doors and a new wraparound deck bring the beautiful views
of trees and sky into the house. Our hillside location at 2000 feet
elevation ensures cool breezes all summer and lots of snow in the
winter.
Within four miles from the house you will discover a sandy beach and
boat launch on a large lake, horseback and trail riding, two cross-
country ski areas, hiking on the Appalachian trail, blueberry picking,
and access to October Mountain, the largest state forest in
Massachusetts.
