Sea, California, and is becoming known as one of the most desired 
vacation spots in the world.  Once you enter this tropical paradise…you 
may not want to leave!

Villa Crest is a one acre gated tropical estate. The recently remodeled 
single story hacienda is located in the hills of Cardiff-by-the-Sea and 
only minutes away from the beach.  Drive through the gates and park 
under the Porte-Cache. Notice the carved entry doors with welcome in 
Spanish hand painted above the doorway.   

The entry leads into the living room.  Relax and watch the 46” wide 
screen HDTV with Satellite programming while warming in front of the 
gas fireplace.  Enjoy playing a game?  Sit at our game table for chess, 
backgammon or scrabble.  Leaving the game room you enter the formal 
dining area with an authentic Mexican dining room table and matching 
chandelier.  

The Villa has a total of four bedrooms; three bedrooms are located in 
the hacienda and one bedroom in the Guest House.  Each bedroom is 
uniquely decorated.  The master suite has a California King bed housed 
in a custom designed rod-iron canopy bed with matching end tables 
accented with fluted glass tops.  The walk-in cedar lined closet will 
amaze you. A television, Talavera pots, and Spanish artwork complete 
this room. Featured in the Master Bedroom Suite is a bathroom with a 
hand painted sink and shower tiles.  Neutrogena amenities are provided 
for our guests.

Walk thorough the arched hallway toward the other two bedrooms or 
continue into thelarge gourmet kitchen. The second bedroom features a 
queen bed in a carved wood frame accented with artwork and Talavera 
pots. The third bedroom provides a queen sofa bed and a small office 
with a high speed internet computer w/printer and a small built-in wall 
bed. There is the availability to connect by laptop computer to the USB 
cables found throughout the house.  The second and third bedrooms 
share a bathroom that has an access door to the backyard/pool area.  
Neutrogena amenities are provided for our guests.  The use of plush 
bathrobes and linens are included in the rental fee.

The kitchen is completely furnished and features a gas stove top with 
oven and built-in refrigerator by Thermador. Enjoy the hand painted 
walls in the round breakfast nook and noticethe designer wrought iron 
breakfast table and chairs with stain-glass inlays.  A sit-down view from 
the breakfast nook includes a putting green, designer pool with 
waterfall, waterslide, and a Jacuzzi (the pool & Jacuzzi are operated by 
a panel in the kitchen).  The interior of the home and the entire 
backyard are wired for surround sound. 

The Guest House is approximately 300 yards from the hacienda.  At 
1000 sq.ft.  it features a kitchen, bedroom with a King bed, living room 
with leather furniture and a large screen television on satellite , full 
bathroom and a bonus queen bed near the living room.

Have a golf tee-time? Practice you putts on the 9-hole putting green. 
Feeling hungry? Use the built-in gas BBQ Island for cooking a meal to 
enjoy while dining outdoors.  A small refrigerator located in the BBQ 
Island is available to keep your drinks cool by the pool.  Below the pool, 
children can enjoy playing in the sandbox with a full jungle-gym set.  
Beyond the sandbox, walk down to the sports court (basketball, 
volleyball, and mini-tennis) to shoot some hoops.  Bring your friends to 
sit and cheer from the on-site bleacher.

Encinitas, California stretches along six miles of Pacific Coast 
shoreline approximately 25 miles north of San Diego . The town has a 
laid back, home grown, mom-and-pop atmosphere that makes it an 
ideal spot for a relaxing vacation in the sun. Nature enthusiasts, and 
those looking for that perfect tan, will find plenty of opportunities for 
outdoor fun. A day's itinerary in Encinitas can include hiking, 
swimming, surfing, parasailing, sailing, deep-sea fishing, horseback 
riding, or simply relaxing on a beach under the California sun. Quirky 
shops are inviting targets for shopping fanatics, and the restaurants 
offer plenty of international cuisine that will please every appetite.

The beaches of Encinitas can't be beat for sunshine fun time. Moonlight 
State Beach is an excellent family beach due to the flattish terrain and 
the gentle slope into the ocean. The beach offers great facilities, and is 
a excellent place to jump into a pick-up volleyball game. Cardiff by the 
Sea, a satellite community of Encinitas, has the San Elijo Lagoon, a 
naturally occurring inland waterway fed by the ocean. Cardiff is also 
blessed with gorgeous beaches, and is also popular with families. 
Leucadia State Beach is an interesting area made up of relaxed hippies 
and luxury beach homes. This blending of types lends an eclectic feel 
to this wonderful surfing beach. Near the beach is a strip of surf shops, 
taco eateries, and other restaurants stretched along the neighboring 
highway. 

Encinitas has been called the "Flower Capital of the World", a title 
garnered due to the number of roses from Encinitas used in the 
Tournament of Roses Parade in Los Angeles. For a good view of the 
area's gardening prowess, visit the Quail Botanical Gardens, a 30-acre 
facility filled with flowers and plants. Some of the more popular species 
include natural chaparral, orchids, bamboo, and an extensive collection 
of items found in rain forests. You can treat yourself to a self-guided 
tour and climb the observatory, which offers spectacular views of both 
the garden and the surrounding area.

If you are looking for a truly "off the beaten path" experience, be sure to 
visit the Self Realization Fellowship Temple and Ashram Center. 
Paramahansa Yogananda established the Self-Realization Fellowship 
Ashram Center in Encinitas in 1937 as a place of spiritual 
enlightenment. Today, the golden dome of the Ashram can be seen all 
over town. The Hermitage and Meditation gardens are open to the 
public. They are beautifully maintained and are a great spot if you are 
seeking a quiet place to sit and think. An added benefit is the 
spectacular view overlooking the "swami's" surfing beach, just below the 
property.

Encinitas is a great place for a Southern California vacation. There is 
something for everyone. Bargain hunters will want to check out the 
city's flea market that takes place on the weekends. Go hiking along 
the 33 miles of trails that meander through the city. Take the kids to 
see LegoLand, a theme park in nearby Carlsbad made primarily out of 
Legos. Or you could visit the San Luis Rey Mission in Oceanside , the 
last and largest of 18 missions built in California . Jump in a boat and 
go deep-sea fishing or out on a moonlight cruise. If it is fun in the sun
