We are around the curve from New River State Park where hiking, 
canoeing, kayaking, fly fishing, and biking are just some of the 
favorite activities available virtually out the back door. In the 
winter we are within a reasonable drive to the area’s ski resorts. 

Ashe County is famous for its great natural beauty and for its art 
scene. Shop downtown and check out the artists, galleries and gift 
shops that give our area a special touch. Or perhaps you would be 
interested in one of the area’s premier golf courses. We’d be happy
